Next Math Shortcut Workshop on June 11, 2006
Common Admission Test (CAT 2005) conducted by the IIMs, had 90 questions to be solved in 120 minutes. A simple math calculation will tell you that you need to solve a question in a little more than a minute. Even if one were to assume that, on an average, candidates solve no more than 60 questions, that still translates to solving a question in 2 minutes. Top that with the fact that not all questions carry the same mark.
That surely means solving questions at lightning speed. Therefore, it is imperative that you know as many math shortcuts as you can. And not just know the math shortcuts, but practice questions with the shortcuts extensively.
Ascent's Free Math Shortcut Workshops
Ascent Education conducts free math shortcut workshops on select weekends for MBA aspirants in Coimbatore. In each of these workshops, a topic in Math will be covered or typical CAT questions will be solved using shortcuts.
